Carol Lee Arlen, 83, of Winter Park, Florida, passed on March 30, 2025. She was born in Maryland, daughter of Donald Arlen, Sr., and Dorothy Kierst.

Carol graduated from Manatee High School, Class of 1960. Following graduation, she married Peter Williams, and they settled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Donald, Jr. Surviving is her daughter, Valerie Williams.

Carol was an avid horsewoman and her passion for animals was spent caring for rescue dogs and her cherished whippets. She supported her community generously, including volunteering at the Winter Park Hospital on Lakemont and supporting the Winter Park Police Department through the K-9 development program. She loved to play golf and bridge, ride her bike along tree-lined bike trails in Winter Park, and lounge poolside at the old Langford Hotel in Winter Park.

A remembrance will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, at Mead Gardens in Winter Park. Look for a picnic table with donuts, coffee and tea. Carol would love for you to bring your dog(s) (on a leash per Mead Gardens policy).
