Carol Ann Sipe Bruining, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. daughter, sister and friend, was born on May 1, 1945, in Muskegon, Michigan, to her caring parents, Mary and Doyt Sipe. Raised in a warm and loving home with her older brother Ron and her baby brother Mike, Carol learned early on the values of kindness, compassion, and faith, which she carried with her throughout her life. 

Carol shared a remarkable journey with her devoted husband, Dwight Bruining, whom she married on July 18, 1964, in their hometown of Muskegon. They often reminisced about their fortuitous meeting on the corner at Lynch's grocery store which was the beginning of their lifelong romance. Their union, which has spanned over six decades, is a testament to their enduring love and shared dreams. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Paul Bruining and Tracy Hileski, and built a life enriched with family values and treasured memories. 

Carol found joy in her work as a telephone operator, contact lens technician, and receptionist at a doctor's office. Her dedication to her career was rivaled only by her devotion to her family. Known for her radiant smile and friendly demeanor, Carol never met a stranger, and her warmth touched all who knew her. 

A lifelong follower of Christ, Carol's faith was an integral part of her identity. She was blessed with five cherished grandchildren—Logan (Samantha) Mead, Madison Mead, Anna (Jhon Moncada) Bruining, Abigail (Jesus Magno-Garcia) Mead, and Heidi (Aiden Bungay) Bruining—as well as a great-granddaughter, Romina Magno-Mead, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Carol cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. They all have special memories of days and sleepovers shared with Gramby and Papper. 

An avid reader, Carol found solace in the pages of books. One of her favorite memories of raising Paul and Tracy was curling up on the couch with them to read stories to them for hours on end. She loved the peacefulness of the ocean. Her love for water and the dream of living near the sea came true in January of 1988, when she and Dwight relocated to Florida. There, she embraced her dream for over 38 years, frequently enjoying road trips with Dwight, exploring new places and creating a lifetime of memories together. 

Carol was predeceased by her cherished parents and her brother, Ronald Sipe. She is survived by her loving husband, Dwight; her children, Paul Bruining and Tracy (James) Hileski; her grandchildren and great-granddaughter; and her brother, Micheal (Jane) Sipe. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Compassionate Care Hospice of Clermont for their unwavering support and love. She leaves a legacy of love, faith, and kindness that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her presence.
