On Monday November 1, 2021, our mother Carol Bruno passed after a hard and unexpected battle with cancer at the age of 73.

Our mother is loved and will be truly missed by her four children, son Ian Bruno, daughter Amanda Alvarez and her husband James, son Jonathan Bruno and his fiancé Ashly and son Kole Pennington. She was a very proud and fun grandma to her eight grandchildren James III and his wife Samantha, Gabriel and his wife Ashtyn, Xavier, Jonathan, Aurora, Kayden, Julian and Emily and  her four great grandchildren Kaimana, Elijah, Malaya and Ray.

Our mom was very active and healthy at the time prior to her diagnosis. If she wasn't helping with a stray or injured animal she was helping with a stray or injured human. Mom was born  on Christmas day and it was so fitting because she loved giving, whether it was blankets to the local cat rescue or giving her time to help find a home for elderly homeless man. Many of her neighbors and friends seen her as family. She lived and loved with passion.
