Carol Noack Coakley, 84, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. She was a cherished mother and friend, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Carol was born in Garrett, PA, on July 29, 1941, to James and Josephine Darrah (Fritz). Her family moved to Ft. Myers in her teenage years. She attended and graduated from Ft. Myers High School in 1959 and later from Edison Junior College Nursing Program. She dedicated her life to her family and her passion for nursing. She started her career at Lee Memorial Hospital and later moved to Atlanta, GA, and worked downtown at a large Nursing Home. She then moved to Clearwater, Fl, and continued nursing. She met her late husband John and they retired in Lakeland, FL. Her infectious smile and laughter and loving spirit brightened the lives of all who knew her. She made many friends wherever she worked and lived.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Lori Noack of Ft. Myers, FL (Denise Stiles); She was preceded in death by her husband John Coakley of Lakeland, FL and her son David K. Noack of Ft, Myers, FL.

A private celebration of Carol’s life will be held later.
