Carol Mary Mammana Maki, age 70, passed away peacefully on 6/27/26, surrounded by the love of her family. A resident of Summerfield, Florida, Carol was a true free spirit who danced through life to the beat of her own drum. She was always laughing, possessing a wonderful, infectious sense of humor that could instantly brighten any room. Her final days were at peace and painless, As she transitioned into her final rest, she left her family with the ultimate, comforting promise that they would simply "talk later." Carol is survived by her loving husband, Robert Maki. Her vibrant spirit and the echo of her laughter live on through her children: her daughter, Tara and her husband Jack Tazzetto; and her sons, Robert and his wife Deborah Mammana and Frank and his wife Maria Kenney. She is also survived by her cherished siblings: her brother, Thomas Mammana, and her sisters, Victoria Tyrell and Delores and her husband John Liss. Carol leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her eight grandchildren and her beloved great-grandson, as well as many family and friends who loved her dearly. She was welcomed into eternity by her beloved parents, Frank and Bessie Mammana, who preceded her in death. Family will have a private memorial service.
