Carol Jane Marciani (née Guimara), age 78, passed away on April 25, 2025, in Holly Hill, Florida.

Born on April 12, 1947, in Hackensack, New Jersey, Carol was the daughter of "Red" and Millie Guimara. She grew up with a deep appreciation for family and a zest for life that remained with her throughout the years.

Carol was a devoted mother and grandmother whose love and dedication to her family were unwavering. She is survived by her sister, Annette Price; her son Steve Marciani and his partner Don Widmer; her daughter Alisa Andrzejewski; and her ex-son-in-law Steve Andrzejewski. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Christian Andrzejewski and his wife Nicole, Megan Andrzejewski and her fiancé Zach Farris, and Ellie Andrzejewski. She will also be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her grandson Ryan Andrzejewski.

A woman of many passions, Carol had a special place in her heart for animals—especially dogs, cats, and horses. Her home was often filled with the warmth of music as she sang or played guitar. She also enjoyed outings to restaurants for "a bite to eat" and never missed the chance to catch a good mystery at the theater or on TV.

Carol had an extraordinary gift for conversation. Whether with friends or strangers, she could light up a room with her charm and warmth. Her social nature made every gathering more vibrant, and she cherished time spent with others.

Family was always at the center of Carol's world. She took great pride in attending as many of her children's and grandchildren's events as possible—cheering them on from the sidelines or applauding from the audience. Her Italian cooking brought everyone together around the table; those who tasted it will remember its comforting flavors as much as they remember the love she poured into every dish.

A Celebration of Life will be held in late spring or early summer to honor Carol's memory. Details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
