Obituary

Carol Provencial, who was born October 26th, 1955, in St. Paul Minnesota, went home to heaven on Sunday, March 27th, 2022, which also happened to be her Mom's birthday. And Mom was there to welcome her to heaven. Carol passed away with her sister at her side at Halifax Hospice in Ormond Beach, feeling loved and cared for in a beautiful setting with nature, a chapel and amazing people.

From an early age, Carol was quiet, wrote poetry, and drew pictures, and was meticulous about her appearance. She had a distinctive attention to detail. Carol was an amazing amateur photographer. In her 20's to better her photography skills, she started asking questions, researching, and buying one part at a time, and pieced together her own dark room. She taught herself to develop black and white photos. She loved nature and would go out at dawn, where the early light was barely shining and the dew was blanketing the ground, and photograph a spider web, turning it into the most beautiful photo.

Carol worked with her Dad at Honeywell in Boston in the Quality Assurance department. She went back to school and earned her Associates Degree. As she grew into the most incredible person, she became a teacher of the faith she had found. She was always putting everyone else first, always listening to your woes, never thinking of herself, and always had a kind word about every person she met.

Carol had a beautiful smile and a heart the size of all of outdoors, the patience of a saint, and endless love for her family. She is remembered by her son Chad Houser from Cottage Grove, Minnesota and her sister Anita Thomson from Ormond Beach, Florida.

A Celebration of her life and who she was will be held in a private ceremony.

Carol, You are God's angel now.

Please feel free to share any memories you may have of Carol. Her memory and love will always be in our hearts.
