Carolyn C. Spies, 80, of Ocala, FL passed peacefully with family and friends by her side at her home in Ocala, FL on Friday November 10, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her husband Howard A. Spies (August 2006). She is survived by four children Christine Payne Denver, Howard Spies Jr. Ocala, FL, Cathleen Smith Tampa and Karen Myrick Highland Village, TX.  Sons-in law are Paul Appel of Denver and Chip Myrick of Highland Village, TX. Carolyn had five grandchildren, Russell Payne, Luke Smith, Laura Smith, Jaxson Myrick and Trevor Myrick.

Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Crematory Society, Ocala, FL will provide care of our mother's earthly remains.  A funeral mass will be in Bradenton, FL on 11/21/17 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
