Obituary

Carolyn Walker Weir, age 88-born 8/19/1936, passed away peacefully on 3/4/2025. She was born in Miami, Florida to John and Margaret Walker.
On January 26, 1991 she married Arthur James Weir in West Palm Beach, Florida. They enjoyed their motorhome travels and moved from Lake Worth, Florida to The Villages, Florida in 2004.
Carolyn retired from the State of Florida in 1998 after 33 years of service. She worked at A.G. Holley State Hospital in Lantana, Florida for 25 years and also State Employment in Tallahassee and Boca Raton, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her adoring husband Arthur.
Survivors include three children: Joy (Barry) Beeler; Richard Yorgensen; Karen (Doug) Collura; Stepchildren: Susan Moody and Richard Weir; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 28, at 12:30 in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
