Carrie Lee Johnson, 86, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, in Brooksville, Florida surrounded by her family.

Born on November 5, 1938, in Lakeland, Florida, Carrie lived a life filled with faith, love, and generosity. A devoted Christian, she attended church faithfully and found great joy in singing in the choir. Her beautiful voice was a cherished part of worship services and brought comfort to many.

Carrie was a bright light to all who knew her. She loved to go thrift shopping any chance she could and always seemed to find special treasures. She had an infectious laugh that could lift spirits and a giving heart that touched countless lives. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph D. Johnson Jr., and their sons: Joseph D. Johnson III (Dena), Stephen Johnson (Dana), Mark Johnson, and Timothy Johnson (Amy). Carrie was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 22, 2025, at First Baptist Church Brooksville, located at 420 Howell Ave, Brooksville, Florida, 34601. The service will begin at 11:00 AM and conclude at 2:00 PM. A lunch will be provided afterward in the Fellowship Hall.

Carrie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her legacy of love and faith continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in her journey.
