It is with great sadness and fond memories that we announce the passing of Carroll on May 4, with family and friends from home by his side.

Carroll was born in Groveton, NH on July 16, 1935 to Mabel and Carroll Sr.  He was Valedictorian of his high school class and then enrolled in the General Electric Apprentice Program for 4 years, while earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of New Hampshire. He served a short time in the Army building bridges and dedicated his entire career to GE.

He was active in the St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Groveton, NH, Grace Episcopal Church in Dalton, MA, and St. Peter the Fisherman Episcopal Church in New Smyrna Beach, FL.  Carroll enjoyed summers at the lake, working with his hands, creating music with his dogs, New England sports, lobster dinners, and playing cribbage.

He is remembered and loved by Joan, his wife of 57 years, daughters Jill, Christine and Julie, six grandchildren, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.

His memorial service will take place at St. Peter the Fisherman Episcopal Church, 4220 Saxon Drive, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 (386-428-7383) on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
