IN LOVING MEMORY

Catherine passed away peacefully in her sleep at Halifax Hospice after a long battle with lung cancer and joins her parents with her Lord and Savior. Catherine was born August 20, 1954 in Los Angeles, CA and moved to this area in 1979 from Dover, MD. She was a loving and philanthropic person. Loved all animals and her favorite house pets thru the years. Relentlessly donated to all charities. She worked in the service industry in the area from 1979 to 1986 where she was greatly loved by friends.  She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Alberto Romo, retired Corrections Captain of 28 years at Tomoka C.I., her son Edward Dorsey Hobbs III of Gilbert, AZ. And half-brother Michael Anderson. She was predeceased by her Parents, Henry M. and Dorothy E. Blythe who adopted her at 5 years of age. The family will be holding a private service and is requesting that in lieu of flowers donations are made to the Halifax Humane Society in Cathy's name. Baldwin Brothers of Port Orange, FL is in charge.
