In Loving Memory of Cathy Cohen

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend Cathy Cohen, age 69 of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and dear friend whose kindness, warmth, and vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.

Cathy is survived by her beloved husband, Lee Cohen, her partner in love and life.  She was the devoted mother of Michael (Amanda) Cohen and Elyse (John) Hurley; and the treasured grandmother of Kaitlyn Cohen, Emily Cohen, and Ryan Hurley. Her family was the heart of her world, and her love for them knew no bounds.

She will also be deeply missed by her many friends, who cherished her companionship, wisdom, and generous heart. Cathy brought people together effortlessly — whether around her kitchen table, at community events, or during spirited pickleball matches.

Cathy had a passion for pickleball that was as much about the friendships she built as the game itself. Her pickleball "family" will remember her for her competitiveness, encouragement, and the infectious joy she brought to every match.

Her memory will be a blessing to all who knew her, and her legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in those she touched.
