Loving mother and grandmother, Celia M. Barber, of Miami, FL., died in Orlando, FL on Sunday November 12, 2023, at 96 years old.

Aunt Sweetie, (as she is known by family), was born in St. Ann, Jamaica in 1926.  Celia enjoyed a relaxing and interesting life in rural Jamaica until she immigrated to the United Kingdom where she resided for over 25 years.  She later immigrated to the United States.

Celia was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Barber, her brother Albert, and her four sisters, Nellie, Myrtle, Wilhel and Vera.  She is survived by her granddaughter Gillian Gruber, and grandson Douglas Gruber.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Faith Assembly Church, 9307 Curry Ford Road, Stephen's Chapel, Orlando, FL  32825, at 4:30 PM on December 7, 2023.
