C. F. Joe Shawver, 94 formerly of New Smyrna Beach died peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2012 in Starke, FL.  Joe was born December 1, 1917 in Blue Sulphur Springs, WV to the late Eldora and John Shawver.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy and work for the Federal Department of Prisons as a Correctional Officer for many years. Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Justine.  He is survived by his cousin, Shirley Reddish. Private services will be held Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater, FL
