Life Celebration for Charles Raymond Pentz, 87, Edgewater FL will be 5:00 PM Saturday, May 18 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach. Charles was born January 12, 1926 to Rueben and Clare Pentz in Indiana, PA and passed away early morning on May 15, 2013. He is survived by his sons Robert (Diane) Pentz, Thomas (Barbara) Pentz and daughter Deborah (Ronnie) Reaves, ten grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Ray spent many years in the fast food industry and also worked at Kennedy Space Center. He enjoyed gardening and his little companion "Spanky". He is known for his deep voice and charming smile. He attended Edgewater Alliance Church where he enjoyed many friends. He also served as a Citizen on Patrol for the Edgewater Police Department. He served our nation in the US Marine Corps during WW II. He was preceded in death by his siblings Frances, Clifford, Lois Jeanne and Roberta.
