Charlene HARDIK, age 79, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, surrounded by love and her girls. She was a woman who truly embraced life. She had a deep love for travel and was fortunate to explore many beautiful places throughout the world, including Aruba, Italy, England, Mexico, and Barbados, Sea Oats in Manasota Key as well as enjoying several memorable cruises. Whether traveling with friends or family, she cherished the experiences, the laughter, and the memories made along the way. She also delighted in wine tasting, shopping, and savoring good food — always appreciating life’s simple and joyful pleasures.Above all else, her greatest joy was found in her family and friends and her community. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Hardik, and her sister, Joyce Crawford, both of whom she loved deeply.She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth and will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews, as well as the friends whose lives she touched through her kindness, laughter, and generous spirit.She will be remembered for her love of adventure, her appreciation for the finer moments in life, and the deep affection she held for those closest to her. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the travels remembered, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She is survived by her children Donna Kapitula (Dawn) David Kapitula (Athena) Joseph Kapitula (Lisa) her six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life for Charlene at Moss Landing on January 29 at 2 PM In accordance with her wishes, the family will gather at a later date to spread her ashes.
