Charles C. Allen, Jr. passed peacefully May 7, 2024. He was born in 1932 in Collingswood, NJ.  "Charlie" began his passion for flight in the US Air Force. He later obtained his private pilot's license and enjoyed recreational flying and travel with his wife of 53 years, Peggy. Charlie enjoyed a successful career as an agent, manager, and owner in insurance and securities with The Prudential, in NJ and later in Central Pennsylvania, winning many top awards. Avid golfer, fisherman, and jack-of-all-trades, Charlie enjoyed retirement years in Marco Island, FL and Cotuit, MA, where he and Peggy had many dear friends. He was a supportive mentor to many. Charlie recently lived at Shell Point Village. He is preceded in death by wife Peggy (Margaret), and sister Joanne. He is survived by brothers Richard and David Allen; daughter Mary Beth Allen Yarbrough, and son Charles C. Allen, III (Chuck). He was proud grandad to five grandchildren: Kristen, CJ; Scott, Madi, and Alex; and to six great-grandchildren, Madison, Chase, Nova, Luke, Aubrey, and Emma.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boys Town ( boystown.org ). A memorial Mass will be celebrated at San Marco Catholic Church on Saturday July 13, 2024.
