October 17, 1959 – January 16, 2026
Charles Dean "Charlie" Carpino, 66, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2026 from cancer.
Born October 17, 1959, in Poughkeepsie, New York, Charlie was the son of Charles P. and Justine Carpino. He met the love of his life, Korinne, in high school, and they shared 46 years of marriage filled with adventure.

In 2014, he followed his creative calling and graduated from the Hallmark School of Photography. He opened Charles Dean Photography in Mount Dora, where he specialized in real estate, events, and portraits, and found particular joy in creating photographic composite art. His work was recognized with several local juried awards, and he was an active member of three area art leagues.
Charlie was an avid tennis player, loved motorcycle riding with Korinne, especially on benefit and fundraising rides. He found joy in building model boats and planes with his son, Jason, hiking with his camera, and spending time in nature. Later, Charlie became a model train enthusiast. He had a deep love for animals always having a cat or two. Above all, Charlie had a special place in his heart for children and was a longtime supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Charlie was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Robert J. Carpino. He is survived by his beloved wife, Korinne; his son, Jason; his brother, Peter (Mary Ellen) Carpino; his sister, Ann (John) Hosking; and cherished nieces and nephews.
