Charles E. Doan, 84, of Clermont, Florida passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, in a local nursing home.

Charles was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 2, 1936. He Is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty B. Doan, daughters, Kathie McDaniel (David) and Teresa Richardson, son, Robert L. Foster, II (Nita), brother Herman Q Doan of Washington, IN, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grand-daughter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lena Doan, Grandson, Anthony Foster, sisters, Phyllis Haynes and Alice McKinney, brothers Richard, Melvin, and Phillip Doan.

He served in the United States Airforce and was a retired bus driver for Walt Disney World for 19 years, Royal Tours 13 years and Southeastern Trailways for 13 years.

Graveside services with full Airforce Military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513 , on Monday, September 13, at 1:00 PM, the Rev Matthew Ainsley, officiating.

Pallbearers include Jonathan McDaniel, Zachery McDaniel Shane Hopkins, Rob Foster, Josh Vandenbergh and Marco Viero.
