Loved Husband, Stepfather, Grandpa, and Friend, Charles Raymond Forgraves, of Daytona Beach, passed away Saturday September 23, 2023, peacefully at his home in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was 79.

Charlie, the son of Raymond and Marion Forgraves, was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 19, 1943. He attended Father Lopez High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was a Lifeguard on Daytona Beach, soon afterwards he joined the Daytona Beach Fire Department where he served for 20 years. He finished his career as the owner of the Bait Shack in Port Orange.

Charlie's passions were fishing, football, and family. He was also a member of the American Legion #361

Survivors include, his lovely wife of over 26 years Patricia Forgraves, his three sons, Michael Scott Swanson (Tami), James Joseph Tyrcha (Crystal) and Jeffrey John Tyrcha (Wendy); grandchildren, Mitchell Saunders (Dinah), Matthew Connolly (Jordan), Cody Tyrcha, Rachel Connolly, Dalton Tyrcha, Skylar Swanson, Taylor Tyrcha, Audrianna Chapman and great-grandchildren Layla Connolly, Adaline Saunders, Evan Connolly and Wyatt Saunders.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 12:30 pm at American Legion #361.
