Charles William Howell, "Charlie", 78, of Fort Myers, FL was eternally healed and went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 14, 2021, after his battle with cancer. Charlie was a Florida native, born in the small town of Ochopee, FL, and lived his whole life in Florida.

He was a veteran, serving his country proudly as a member of the 82nd Airborne in the United States Army. He then took a job with the power company as a lineman, tirelessly working to literally keep the lights on! He loved being on the water, fishing, hunting, baseball, being silly and his family.

Most notably, Charlie had a relationship with and loved Jesus. He faithfully attended First Assembly of God in Fort Myers, serving as an usher. He is preceded by his father, mother, and son. He is survived by the love of his life, his beautiful wife Maria; his sons – David & Greyson; his grandsons – Leighton & Austin; and her children – Karla, Julie, Hal, Brenda; as well as many other loved ones. He will be dearly missed here by family and friends, but we know it is just farewell for now.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021, in Sherrick Hall at First Assembly of God (4701 Summerlin Rd.) from 1pm – 4pm: Visitation will be 1pm – 3pm and a commemoration will begin at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Missions department at First Assembly of God or Hope Healthcare.
