Charles J. Manning , age 76, of Gulfport, Florida, passed away on May 6, 2025. Born in Waycross, Georgia, Charles proudly served as a U.S. Marine and was a Vietnam veteran. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and deep love for his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette A. Manning; his children, Bianca, Staci, Raymond, and John; his grandchildren, Aleesha, Erick, and Dylan; His Brother, Thomas Manning (Carol Manning), and his beloved dog, Pinky-Piper. He also leaves behind many cherished military friends— Semper Fidelis .

Charles had a lifelong love for fishing, especially alongside his best friend, Jesse Nesbit.

The family kindly requests no flowers. Donations in Charles's honor may be made to Suncoast Hospice. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Suncoast Hospice for their excellent care—true angels who kept him comfortable and pain-free to the very end. They will always hold the Suncoast team in their hearts.

The family will be holding private services.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
