Charles Delbert Rice, Sr., devoted son, husband, father, and friend, passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 85.

Charles was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Olive and Delbert Rice on April 21, 1937. After graduating from Loyall High School in Harlan, Kentucky in 1955, he moved back to Ohio where he worked for the City of Dayton Water Department. He married his loving wife, Abby, in 1965.

In 1996, Charles moved to Central Florida, where he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his 2 grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his wife of 57 years, Abby; his son Charles Jr. and daughter-in-law Cindy; his grandson Charles III and his wife Jordynn; and his granddaughter Casey and her boyfriend Jimmy. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
