Charles G. Schimmel Jr 71 of Edgewater, FL died Thursday April 28, 2016 at Halifax Health Southeast.  He was born April 30, 1944 in Warren Ohio the son of Charles G. and Catharine (nee Wendelken) Schimmel.  He served in the U S Navy and came to Florida from Ohio in 1968.  He worked as a salesman in the automotive industry.  He is survived by his wife Kate Schimmel of the home; a son, Brian Schimmel of Orlando, FL; Step son Steven Kelly of Lake Mary FL and a Step daughter, Jennifer Pattengill of Minneapolis, MN and by four grandchildren. Services are private.
