Obituary
Charles A. "Charley" Seymour, 80,
passed away on June 18, 2025 at his home in Bonita Springs, Florida. He was just 6 days away from his 81st birthday.
He was born on June 24, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Elmer and Wilma (Hammond) Seymour. He was a graduate of Ben Davis High School and the International Barbers School.
Charles is survived by his daughter Pamela Wheatley, his brother Harley Seymour, his sister Terri Groseclose, 5 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. His daughter Suzy Ortiz preceded him in death.
A barber by profession, he was a loyal friend to many. He loved campfires with his friends, kayaking adventures and the bonding experience of weathering several hurricanes together.
He had a passion for racing, kayaking and camping trips and spirited poker games with friends.
The family would like to thank his neighbors, who lived in the Gulf Coast Camping Resort, who were so loyal in helping him. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
