Charlotte Lemay's Obituary

Charlotte A. Lemay July 3, 1934 – April 3, 2019 Ormond Beach, FL

Charlotte met Jesus, her Lord and Savior, and was reunited with her husband Al, the love of her earthly life, Wednesday morning, April 3. Born in Lowell, MA on July 3, 1934, daughter of Fred and Alma (Ruff) Robinson. Sadly, Charlotte lost her mother at the age of 4. By the grace of God at the age of 14, she was "born into the heart" of Ida Milliken, a single mom, who loved her and raised her as her own. During Charlotte's college years she worked as a bank teller. A Cum Laude graduate of Salem Teachers College, Charlotte taught for a short while and then returned to the bank preferring that work environment. She devoted her teaching skills to the children in Sunday school, and to her daughters, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. After being healed from a battle with ovarian cancer she and her husband fulfilled their dream of living in warmth and sunshine where she could lie in the sand and have the ocean waves wash over her every day. Charlotte was a loving, affectionate, compassionate woman, stronger than most could imagine. In her last years and days, no matter her physical limitations, she continued to provide a hand to hold, and lovely smiles bringing light into the lives of others.  Charlotte leaves her daughter, Rosanne Palombi and her husband Philip Paul; her daughter Paula Wyman and her husband Mark; her grandchildren, Amy Petitti and her husband Christopher; Keith Laurencelle and his wife Pam; Melissa Bonilla and her husband Alex; and Kevin Laurencelle; her great grandchildren Adriana Petitti, Isaiah Laurencelle, Natalia Petitti, Haylee Laurencelle, Raphael Dominguez, and Anthony Laurencelle; her extended family, Florence Axford, Alan, John and Dan Desmettre, Al and Judy Frye, Ray and Franklina Michaud, Ray and Helen Otis, Joe and Carol Ralston, and Frank Recupero. A Celebration of Life Service for both Al and Charlotte will be held Thursday, April 18 at 2:00pm at Bethany Church, 500 Breakfast Hill Road, Greenland, NH. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bethany Church bethanychurch.com
