Charlotte was born on June 8, 1937 and passed away on October, 17, 2016.

Charlotte was born in the Oak Hill, FL area, where she completed high school and met her future husband, Earl JD, "Jake," Parsons at a square dance.  A short time later, they were married and moved to Ft. Pierce, FL where all five of their children were born.

In 1967 they moved cross country to Jake's home town of Mullan, ID, residing there and raising their children until Jake's retirement in 1995.  During their retirement years, they spent their time traveling the United States in their RV; eventually settling in the Oak Hill/Edgewater, FL area until Jake's passing in 2007.

After Jake's death, Charlotte spent time with her children until her death on October 17, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Earl JD "Jake" Parsons in 2007, her brothers Thomas and Henry Matthews, and her sister Sadie Matthews.

She is survived by her 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, who all dearly loved her.

Services were held November 4th, 2016 at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Graveside Service will be 11:00 Friday, November 4 at Oak Hill Cemetery Oak Hill Florida. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7PM.
