Charlotte "Jane" Showers, 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28th, 2023. Jane was born February 7th, 1934 in White Deer, Pennsylvania to the late William and Alice (Kurtz) Deitrick and was one of eight children. She had been a resident of Florida since 1962.

Jane was a registered nurse at Halifax Hospice for over 30 years. She loved being a nurse in the local community and was beloved by her colleagues and patients.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and always knew how to make those around her smile.

Her hobbies included walking, gardening, reading, and online gaming. Cruises with her siblings were among some of her most treasured memories. She enjoyed visits from her great-grandchildren who helped keep her energy up and made her laugh.

Jane will be greeted in Heaven by those who preceded her, including her seven siblings, her husband, Pete, her son, William "Bill", and her daughter, Rita. Jane is survived by her daughter, Beth, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She will be missed eternally by all. We love you, Gram. Graveside services will be held, 12 noon Sunday January 14, 2024 at Daytona Memorial Park Daytona Florida
