Charlotte J. Templeton, 83, formerly of Tornado, WV.

Charlotte Jean Templeton passed away September 28, 2021 at the age of 83, at Trinity Springs Assisted Living in Oxford, Florida. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Nettie Taylor, husband Dallas Templeton and sister Marlene Bess.  She is survived by her brother, Ronald Taylor, her three children, Bridget Templeton (Fred Saxine), Patrick Templeton (Mary) and Benjamin Templeton (Kim), seven grandchildren, Erica Collins (Roy), Tyler Templeton, Conner Templeton (Emily), Taylor Jeffery, Arden Jeffery, Ezra Templeton and Lincoln Templeton, four great-grandchildren, Braxton, Lilly, Nick and Noah. She lived most of her life in Tornado, WV where she lovingly raised her family. She worked at Sears as a book keeper for over a decade and retired from the Office of the Kanawha County Clerk in Charleston, WV after twenty plus years. Charlotte loved nature and was especially fond of watching birds and identifying plants and trees.  After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her with children and grandchildren, being a member of the knitting group at the St. Albans, WV library and being active member of the Humphreys Memorial Methodist Church in Tornado, WV.  She also enjoyed playing card games with church family on Saturday and Sunday nights.  She was loved and will be missed greatly.  A private family funeral will be planned at a later date.
