It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul CheKwong Wong, who departed this world on December 13, 2024, at AdventHealth Hospital in Orlando, Florida, after courageously battling cancer. He was 59 years old.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Paul's life was a beautiful balance of intellect, creativity, and compassion. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Hong Kong and went on to achieve his Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Florida. He was a Registered Architect of Florida, a member of American Institute of Architects (AIA). His career as an architect reflected not only his exceptional talent but also his passion for design and dedication to his craft.

Paul was deeply loved for his quirky sense of humor, a quality that endeared him to friends, family, and colleagues alike. He brought joy and laughter wherever he went.

An avid lover of the arts, Paul found solace and inspiration in classical music, particularly the works of his favorite composer, Johann Sebastian Bach. He was equally passionate about Chinese literature and enjoyed spending time surrounded by the beauty of nature. Paul admired the brilliance of architect Louis Kahn, whose work embodied the balance between form and light.

Paul is survived by his wife of 31 years, Odilia Wing Yiu, whose unwavering love and support were a constant throughout his life's journey.

He will be remembered not only for his remarkable accomplishments but also for the light he brought into the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. Paul's memory will live on through his work, his laughter, and the love he shared with those around him.

Catholic Vigil viewing will be held from 9am to 10am on Dec. 27, 2024 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society Orlando, 1654 N Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL 32807. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am at Good Shepherd Church Orlando, 5900 Oleander Dr, Orlando, FL 32807. He will be laid to rest at Queen of Angels Cemetery in Winter Park, Florida.
