Cheryl Smith, age 59, passed away peacefully May 7th 2022 due to heart failure. She was born March 30th, 1963. She married her longtime friend and love, Glen Long on April 5th 2008 who preceded her in death in 2011. Cheryl loved to love on people. She crocheted blankets and love to go on a long motorcycle rides. She was a busy body known to all. Anything Harley Davidson/ Frogs we're her favorites to collect. For many years Cheryl worked at Jim's Club 19 as a bartender in Homosassa, Florida. She had a smile that would light up any room.

Cheryl is survived by her daughter Tabitha Smith, son Glen Long and granddaughter Remington Long who she adored the moment she laid eyes on her. She loved and touched deeply every person she came across. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Cheryl stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Cheryl. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight. She will always be remembered as a beautiful mother and great friend.

The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days. Celebration of life will be held June 25, 2022 at Jim's Club 19 in Homosassa, Florida at 4pm.
