Cheryl Ann Stone (79) was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday December 31, 2023, after a long battle with diabetes and lung cancer. Cheryl was born April 28, 1944, to Donald and June Roulo in Olean New York. She graduated from Portville Central High School in 1962 and went on to marry her loving husband of 55 years, Danny Stone on July 29, 1967.

Cheryl was a jack of all trades and raised (provided daycare) to what seems like half the town of Portville as well as her grandchildren. After several administrative jobs and many more in food service she also volunteered at her church and food pantries. She truly was a genuine person with very strong family values and was never shy about letting you know just what she thought. Cheryl stayed busy with her love of baking and crafts. She was great with her hands and over the years could be found making clothes or dolls for her daughter and cutting her boy's hair.

Cheryl will be truly missed by her husband Danny Stone, children Shane, Beth, Garth, 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and everyone who loved her. She was proceeded in death by her son, Heath, and a grandchild.

Services will be held at Edgewater Union Church at 500 S Ridgewood Ave., Edgewater, FL 32132 On February 10, 2024, at 10:30am.

A memorial for Cheryl will be held in the spring in Portville, N.Y.
