Chester J. Bilich, 92, passed away on June 29 at the Ted and Diane Brandley Hospice House of Marion County.  A native of Gallitzin, PA, he moved to this area in 1991 from Michigan. Mr. Bilich was a retired finish carpenter and proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII.  Chester attended St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Belleview. He loved traveling, was passionate about his garden and was an avid fisherman.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 69 years, Rose, children, Cindy (Howard) Hunt of Otsego, MI, Carl (Cheryl) Bilich, St. Pete, FL, Claudia Jo Blanchard, Omer, MI, Cary (Karen) Bilich, Leland, NC, Carolyn (Mike) Galazka, Romeo, MI, 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. There will be a graveside service at the Resurrection Cemetery in Michigan at a later date. The family has suggested memorials be made in his name to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860, in lieu of flowers.
