Chris was born in Albany, NY. He was retire from the construction industry. He served our nation in the US Army and remained in the Reserves. He was a member of the BPOElks, Masonic Fraternity, Shriners Marine Discovery Center, and the Coronado and Mainland Shuffleboard Clubs.

Chris is survived by his wife Sally, children Christian T Abele of Holly Hill FL and Kathy Sue Abele of Sandy Springs, GA and two grandchildren.
