October 2, 1936 – December 19, 2020
Christine J. Romano (nee Valentino), 84 years, Cape Coral Florida, went home to be with our Lord. Chris was a wonderful, friendly, upbeat and thoughtful person you would ever meet in your lifetime. She is preceded by her husband of 48 years, John F. Romano and their adopted sister Martha Prince.
She lived in Cape Coral for 25 years. She is survived by her children, Frank J. Romano and wife Debra and children and grandchildren in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, Victoria A Perron (nee Romano) and husband Mark of Cape Coral, FL, grandson Khristopher and wife Nadia of California, nephew Larry Kelder and Rose of Galloway, New Jersey.
Chris was born and raised in West Orange, New Jersey. She is preceded by her parents, Carmen and Rose Valentino, brother Joseph Valentino, sister Phyllis Allegrino and twin sister, Jane Moon. She is also survived by sister Sallie Rieser and nieces Sherrie Rieser, Kellye Martinelli. Nieces and nephews, Donna & John Andres and children of PA, Dominick and Caroline Allegrino and daughter of NJ, Denise & Lou Cucci of NJ, Paul & Kitty Baron of AZ, Keith Valentino and children of SC, Rose & Mike Hesse of NJ.
Chris is known for being a fantastic cook and baker. She loved bowling on a women's team. She loved playing cards and going to sporting events of her children and other loved ones. She will be missed by family and friends and all loved ones who knew her. Chris will stay in our hearts always! All those beautiful and unforgettable memories will be with us forever!
