Christine Frances Becerra, 74, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, with her devoted husband, Rich, her brother Bill and his wife Jane, niece Lauren and her husband Jeremy, by her side.

Christine was born Christine Frances Schumacher on March 19, 1952, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Major William Frederick Schumacher and Eleanor Frances Schumacher, while her father was serving in the United States military.

Christine lived a life defined by kindness, compassion, and quiet grace. She found great joy in music as an active member of the Stone Creek Glee Club, where she shared not only her love of singing but also the warmth and friendship that touched so many. She had a gentle spirit, a welcoming smile, and a remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel valued and at ease.

Christine and her husband, Rich, met in Jacksonville, Florida, and were married in 1989. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, friendship, and countless treasured memories. To Rich, Christine was not only the love of his life but also his best friend, trusted confidante, and constant companion. Their marriage was built on unwavering love, mutual respect, and a deep appreciation for one another.

Above all, Christine cherished her family and friends. Her generous heart, genuine concern for others, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she shared so freely.

Christine is survived by her loving family, including Step Children: Eric Becerra, Cassie Lameroux, Grandchildren: Emma Becerra, Harper Becerra, Lucas Lameroux and Gage Lameroux, Brother / Wife: William Schumacher / Jane Schumacher, Niece / Nephew: Lauren Chambers / Alex Schumacher and many dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Christine’s life at a Celebration of Life on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at:
