On Tuesday, Mar 28, 2023, Christine Pfund, loving wife and mother of three wonderful girls, passed away in Florida at the age of 65 after a short bout with cancer.  Chris was born in Western NY and lived all around the vicinity and started her married life in 1977 with her husband, Russ.  Shortly after their first daughter was born, she developed a love for school volunteering and activities.  She retired as the Sr. clerk typist in Dodge Elementary School main office.  She was the "go-to" person for the everyday workings of the school. Her passions included doting over her grandchildren, sewing, floating in her pool and walking on the beach.

Chris is survived by her husband, Russ and daughters: Ashley Staats (Kiley), Danielle McCall (Matthew) and Alyssa McKenna (Phillip).  Chris is the daughter of Charles W. and Helen K. Hyatt of Buffalo, NY.

Friends will be received at a Celebration of Life gathering on May 27, 2023 at Salvatore's Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Rd, Depew, NY 14043 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
