Chris was called home on July 17 after a short battle with cancer. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born on October 6, 1970, to Rolf Moog and Vicki McKay.

Chris was a loving and caring husband, father, son, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed gaming in Star Wars, bowling and cruising. His bowling friends knew him as mischievous and fun, his gaming friends knew him as Master Jedi Igimo. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He shared his love so freely and honestly; he was loyal to a fault and spoke kindly of everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife, Paula, father, Rolf, mother, Vicki, sister Jennifer (Neil), his children, William (Hannah), Jessica  (Adam), John, Mark, Angela, Kayla, Alex, Talea, Brandon, nieces Jessica and Melissa ,  and grandchildren, Ashley and Justiene , Kaylee , Jewelia, Kolton and Bella, along with other extended family members.

Chris' professional life was spent doing Lawn Maintenance and Irrigation which he taught to 3 of his children, all of whom work in the industry.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Halifax Hospice team that provided his care during his last week of life. Their dedication and understanding of his wishes allowed him to remain at home in his final days.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 2:00pm, Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Chris and Paula's home, 1137 Ave F, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
