Cindy Green, 63, passed away on May 17th at a local hospital. A native of Valdosta, GA, she came to this area 40 years ago. She was a graduate of Valdosta High School and Valdosta State College. Cindy was a retired school teacher. When not working, she enjoyed reading, the beach and politics in her free time. Cindy was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 28 years whom she has known for 33 years, Rick Van De Mark, her brother Blenus Green of Abilene, TX, step father Jack Williams of Valdosta, brother and sister in law, Steve and Pam Van De Mark, mother in law Sylvia Van De Mark and nieces, Zoe and Cassie.
