Claudia Faye Porter, 67, of South Daytona, Florida passed away on November 23, 2016 at the Halifax Health Hospice Port Orange Care Center. She was born on June 12, 1949 in Henderson, Kentucky to the late Claudie L. and Nora Ellen (Richmond) Porter. Claudia worked as a Coal Miner and she was a charter member of the Eagles 4401, a member of the American Legion, and a member of the Moose Lodge. She loved playing Bingo and Darts, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and was an avid University of Kentucky fan. Claudia is survived by her son, Jerry Flahardy; her son, Michael Flahardy her daughter Kim Flahardy; her sister, Judy Connell; her brother, Rick Porter; her sister, Shirley Smith; her nine grandchildren and her 10 great-grandchildren. Claudia was preceded in death by her son, Troy Flahardy. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 4401, 933 Beville Rd., South Daytona, FL.
