Clifford Burtis Moody, 84 of the Villages, Florida passed away on August 20th, 2026.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 11th, 1942, to the late Philip and Eleanor Moody.

He was predeceased by his wife Georgina Cannata Moody in August of 2022. They

were married on February 15th, 1964, and were together for 58 years before her passing.

Singing was always a favorite hobby for Cliff. He loved singing with his friends at the

Doo Wop on the Porch group in the Villages where he will be missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary “Cathy” Moore, and her husband Bill Moore of

Mooresville, NC. His son Philip Moody and his wife Jodi Fried Moody of Stuart, FL. His sister,

Loretta Moody of the Villages, FL. He had 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
