In Loving Memory
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Clifford George Thompson, lovingly known to many as Tom and Cliffy. Clifford was a devoted husband to Donna Burns, with whom he shared a remarkable marriage of 42 years. Their enduring partnership was a testament to their unwavering commitment, love, and mutual respect.
He was born on April 24, 1935, in Panama Canal Zone, Republic of Panama. He worked for more than thirty Years in the division of the United States Army Officers Club Warehouse as area Supervisor/Manager until he retired.
Clifford touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness. He was a beloved friend, a caring family member, and a pillar of support for his loved ones. His sense of humor, warmth, and generosity will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
As we honor Clifford's memory, we hold close the many moments shared and the impact he made on the hearts of those around him. His life will continue to inspire and uplift, and his spirit will remain with us always. He was motivated by his love for God and time spent surrounded by family and close friends.
Clifford was preceded by death by his parents, George Thompson and Olga Critchlow, Brothers: Carlos Thompson, George Thompson, Roberto (Bobby) Thompson, Ernesto Thompson and his son, Guillermo Thompson. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters and sons: Venecia Allen, Clifford Thompson, Valencio Thompson, Angela (George) Lurlay, Gabriel Thompson, Patricio Thompson, Analida Thompson, Shenanda Thompson and Javier Thompson. His stepdaughters: Erica (Kenny) Gillead, Indira (Alston) Phillips, 29 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Other significant people in his life were Lorenzo and Charmaine Malcolm and family (Loved and Cherished the same as blood relatives) (considered daughter, son, grandpa and great-Grandpa), and the David and Phillips Family who adopted him as a dad and brother. Arrangements are entrusted to Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society of Orlando, Florida.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21st, 2026, commencing at 11 am at Christ the King Episcopal Church, 26 Willow Dr., Orlando, FL 32807 where memories will be shared.
