Colton Ray
Remsburg
November 27, 2012 – May 13, 2026
Nona Church Moss Park Campus
Starts at 11:00 am (Eastern time)
Colton R. Remsburg, 13, passed away peacefully in the arms of his mother in the early morning hours of May 12th.
He was born on November 27, 2012, in Marquette, Michigan. Colton was the loving son of Ashley LaChance and Clinton Remsburg; devoted grandson of Nanny and Papa, Nana and Pops, Grandpa Jim and Grandma Callie, Grandma Linda and his late Grandpa Craig, with whom he will be reunited to once again banter about sports; and a proud big brother to Lukey, Lenny, as well as Berkleigh Remsburg, whom he loved all so dearly.
He was the beloved nephew of Alicia & Chris Kolodzek, and Connor Remsburg, and a cherished cousin to Kayley, Kyley, Jaxton, and Weslyn. He was also loved deeply by many extended family members and friends that had a great impact on his life.
Colton loved fishing, sports, and, most importantly, his friends and the members of the LLC — the people who filled his cup every day and whom he lived for. He was also a devoted sports fan, faithfully cheering on the Detroit Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and Pistons with unwavering dedication.
Although Colton was taken from us far too soon in a tragic accident, his spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Through organ donation, he gave the gift of life to numerous others and will forever be remembered as a hero among us.
A celebration of Colton’s life will be held at Nona Church, Moss Park Campus, on June 13th at 11 am. All friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate his life and the joy he brought to so many. We ask that adults dress in semi-formal attire, and that children honor Colton by wearing Detroit sports colors — red, blue, or white. We also ask that guests please refrain from wearing black. The family is receiving assistance with funeral arrangements from Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, 1654 N. Semoran Blvd., Orlando, FL. Online condolences and memories may be shared with Colton's family at www.baldwincremation.com.
