Cora McCarthy Cora McCarthy of New Smyrna Beach FL passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012.  A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00PM Friday, May 11, 2012 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Chapel at 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, Florida with a committal following at Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Baldwin Brothers from noon until service time. Cora was born on March 11, 1917 in Eustis, Florida to Clinton L and Minnie A Stowe.  She graduated from Live Oak High School in 1934.  She was a member of the New Smyrna Beach First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.  She enjoyed crosswords, knitting, needlepoint and playing the piano and organ.
