Obituary

Corey Michael Brady, 38, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on March 1, 2026. Corey was born on September 13, 1987, in DeLand, Florida.

Corey attended Belleview High School and later graduated from the Law Enforcement Academy. He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, riding four-wheelers and motorcycles, and taking his Jeep out into the woods. More than anything, Corey loved spending time with his daughters, doing whatever they wanted to do. They were his true pride and joy in life.

Corey never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness extended to everyone he encountered, often giving away his own belongings to help someone who needed them more. Corey truly was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Kyrstin Brady and Kinsley Brady; his parents, Catherine “Kitty” (Jere) Miller and Kurt (Barb) Brady; his sisters, Crystal (Nick) D’Andrea and Kara Brady; his paternal grandparents, Hal and Ginger Brady; and his former wife, Brittany Brady. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Corey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and an uncle.

Please remember Corey not for how he left this world, but for the laughter he shared, the stories he told, and the memories that live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. In honor of Corey, we invite everyone to wear his favorite color—blue—on the day of his Celebration of Life, whether you are able to attend or simply wish to pause and remember him that day.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, Florida 34470.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help with final expenses may be sent to $KittyCSC, @Kitty-Miller-15 or ApplePay. Any kindness and support are deeply appreciated by our family during this difficult time.
