Curt Kugler – a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend – suddenly passed away in Cape Coral, Florida on Friday, April 19, 2024, after meeting his third grandchild for the first time.

Curt was born to Francis and Betty Kugler in Pittsburgh, PA on March 25, 1955. He graduated from West Alleghany High School in 1973 before attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania. At IUP, Curt met his wife, Beth, and graduated in 1978. He then started his 30+ career in Security Management.

Curt was an avid fisherman and at the time of his unexpected death, he was living out his dream in Cape Coral – with a house on the water and his fishing boat, "The Betty K." He thoroughly enjoyed his "backyard snook" as well as spending evenings on the lanai with Beth. In Cape Coral, he continued his lifetime hobby of stained-glass art, that he learned from his father.

Known as a kind and humble man, Curt was a friend to all he met. He deeply loved his family and they loved him so very dearly.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 42 years, Beth S. Kugler, and their two children, Samantha Langford (Scott) of West Chester, PA and Max Kugler of Pottstown, PA. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Jacob, Savannah, and Benjamin Langford and his beloved dog, Molly.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you cherish your friends and family each and every day. Donations in memory of Curt can be made to the Cape Coral Animal Shelter at Help Bring New Hope to Homeless Animals.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later time.
