Curtis Eugene Shawver, born August 25th,1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017, with his family by his side. Curtis leaves behind his mother, Betty Shawver, sisters Mary Dean, Marsha Matlack, Cindy (Curt) Carver and Bobbi (Mike) Cornelius.  He was preceded in death by his brother, William Shawver. Curtis leaves behind 12 nephews, 11 nieces and his extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. A graduate of New Smyrna Beach, High School, Curtis was very active in band and went on to Indiana University on a music scholarship. After completion of studies at IU, Curtis was hired with Anixter Corporation, and transferred to southern California. He was a loving and generous son, brother and uncle and will be greatly missed. A service celebrating Curtis' life will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Heritage Chapel, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral And Cremation Society, 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL. with a gathering of family and friends at 2 PM with his memorial service starting at 3 PM.
