Cyndee as she was known to her friends passed away on May 12th 2026 after a 3 year battle with cancer.
Cyndees life began at the Army base at Fort Polk, Louisiana as the daughter of Richard and Helene Van Allen. Within a few years she was joined by her little brother "Big Rich". She was a typical Army brat traveling the world and living different places. She had lots of worldly experiences before her family settled permanently in Alexandria, Virginia.
After graduating high school and getting a degree from Nova, she had her first daughter Ashlee. Cyndee worked in the bustling restaurant industry of Northern Virginia. It was during this time she met her future husband David. They had a whirlwind romance that led to a Vegas wedding. The marriage produced to more children, a son Atli and another daughter Amy.
Cyndee was bitten by the fitness bug and became a trainer and group fitness for Gold's Gym, traveling the US training other instructors. She encouraged her husband to get physically fit. He did.
Their shared passion of fitness lead them to their idyllic life in Venice Florida as owners of Real Bikes. Cyndee had an infectious smile. It was hard to know Cyndee and not be a Cyndee fan.
She had an adventurous spirit and zest for life. Her passion for life was rooted in her faith in Jesus Christ and shared with all that knew her.
She will be missed by many including her husband, children, granddaughters Zoey and Aby and friends and customers.
