Ron Manning, 65, died April 10. 2021 in his home after a long and hard battle with Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease.

Ron was born July 11, 1955 in Pineville, WV to the late Dolin W. Manning and Lois Lively Manning. Ron was a graduate of Marshall University. His career with E.I. DuPont DE Nemours spanned time in Martinsville, Richmond, and Waynesboro VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Thomas Keith Manning. Survivors include his siblings, Bill Manning (Mary), Fran Fry (Jim), Eddie Manning (Linda), Barry Davis (Joyce), Dean Manning (Jennifer), Vickie Billups, Cynthia Bailey, and Sheri Neil (Ricky).

He left behind his wife, Beth Manning and his children, Meredith Manning Sherman (Wayne), Eric Keith Manning, R. Justin Hawthorne (Krystal), Rachel E. Hawthorne (Steven) and Emily Manning Polombo (Tony), as well as a special "adopted" family member, Mark Latino, 12 grandchildren- Alicia, Savannah, Amelia, Hunter, Ryder, Lorelei, Aspen, Olivia, Alloura, Aiden, Elijah and Hadley and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ron will be remembered as being a devoted father who took his kids camping, coached soccer. He opened his home to all his children's friends. He made memories with the creation of snow tunnels, sledding, pony rides, and pinewood derbies. He loved working in the yard, gardening, building things and fishing. Once he became a grandfather, he enjoyed all time spent with his grandkids even as his disease progressed these times brought a special smile to his face.
